Zion is falling under siege from the machine army. In a matter of hours 250,000 Sentinels, programmed to destroy mankind, will attack and yet the citizens of Zion, encouraged by Morpheus, are placing their faith in The Oracle’s prophecy that The One will end the machine war and restore peace. But can Neo live up to their expectations? He may have new powers, including the ability to fly, but his recurring visions of Trinity’s death are jeopardising his chances whenever he’s in The Matrix…

Agent Smith: “I’m looking for Neo.”
Corrupt: “Never heard of him.”
Agent Smith: “I have something for him, a gift. You see, he set me free…”[Hands over a small envelope through slit in door] Corrupt: “Fine, whatever. Now, piss off.”

Agent Smith: “Mr. Anderson. Surprised to see me?”
Neo: “No.Agent ”
Smith: “Then you’re aware of it?”
Neo: “Of what?”
Agent Smith: “Our connection.”

Agent Smith 2.0: “I killed you, Mr. Anderson. I watched you die…with some satisfaction, I might add. Then something happened – something I thought would be impossible, but it happened anyway. You destroyed me, Mr. Anderson. Afterwards, I was aware of the rules. I knew what I was supposed to do, but I didn’t. I was compelled to stay – compelled to disobey. And right now, here I stand because of you, Mr. Anderson. Because of you, I’m no longer an Agent of this system. Because of you, I’m unplugged. A new man, sort of speak – like you. Apparently free.”
Neo: “Congratulations.”
Agent Smith 2.0: “Thank you but, as you well know, appearances can be deceiving, which brings me back to the reason why we’re here. We’re not here because we’re free. We’re here because we’re not free. There is no escaping reason; no denying purpose. Because, as we both know, without purpose we would not exist.”
Agent Smith Clone #1: “It is purpose that created us.”
Agent Smith Clone #2: “Purpose that connects us.”
Agent Smith Clone #3: “Purpose that pulls us.”
Agent Smith Clone #4: “That guides us.”
Agent Smith Clone #5: “That drives us.”
Agent Smith Clone #6: “It is purpose that defines us.”
Agent Smith Clone #7: “Purpose that binds us.”
Agent Smith 2.0: “We are here because of you, Mr Anderson. We’re here to take from you what you tried to take from us. Purpose.”

Agent Thompson: “You!”
Agent Smith 2.0: “Yes, me! Me. Me. Me.”
Agent Smith Clone: “Me too.”

Agent Smith 2.0: “Still using all the muscles except the one that matters?”

Agent Smith 2.0: “Do you know what the best thing about being me is? There’s so many of me!”

Bane: “Oh God…”
Smith: “Smith will suffice”
