Big Screen Film Festival returns to Nanango and Kingaroy on Friday, May 16 for three days and nights of great cinema!
Big Screen’s visit to the region takes in screenings at the Nanango Cultural Centre and the Satellite Cinema in Kingaroy. The program will include family films, a gala fundraiser for Drought Relief on Saturday night with a special guest, and a free screening on Saturday afternoon, of films from the archive’s collection.
Opening Night will feature the local premiere of the moving new Australian film Healing, starring Don Hany (Offspring,East West 101) and Hugo Weaving – well known for his roles in The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, and many other Australian films including Oranges and Sunshine, a hit for the 2011 Big Screen festival in Nanango.
