Welcome to the Forum! / Become a member? Please read this first

As you may have noticed, as of today the main part of the forum is hidden to unregistered users. That means you have to register before you can view the complete message board.

This has become necessary after a series of changes on the backend and which I hope will help improving the overall experience of both the site and the forum.

After you've been activated, make sure to read the board rules before posting for the first time.

Looking forward to seeing you online,
Liten

Welcome to the Forum! / Forum Rules and Guidelines (May 2006)

This board is a place where fellow fans can come together, chat, have fun and why not, make new friends in a relaxed atmosphere.

A couple of simple rules to start... :D

Hugo

Any post containing personal information about Hugo (phone numbers, house addresses, email addresses, current/upcoming hotel addresses or their numbers, etc.) will be deleted. No discussion.

Where should I post?

The forum is divided in three main sections: the forum, Hugo and the fans. We all know that OTs can sneak in everywhere, but please try to stay on-topic or open a new thread if needed. If you're not sure if a topic has been discussed before, please use the search engine at the top of the page in order to avoid double-posts.
When quoting from long messages, please keep the quote to the relevant part of the post, especially when replying to a post heavy with pictures.

Member conflicts

When posting please consider that occasionally when an opinion is expressed, it can be considered as inflammatory by another. To avoid conflicts when a topic comes up that you strongly don't agree with, it might be best to just refrain from commenting. The Administrators reserve themselves the right to delete any thread that should become a battlefield between members.
In case of disagreement, members should try and settle their differences off-board. If that is not possible, and a person persists on making posts on an inflammatory topic, or posts aimed directly at another individual, the Administrators reserve the right to terminate membership, which hopefully will never happen.

Images & videos

To post an image or a video on the forum you need to upload them to a server. For images you can use Photobucket.com, Imageshack.us, Tinypic.com or flickr.com. When posting more than one picture, please keep it to 5 per post, and if possible use thumbnails as a courtesy to dial-up users.
As far as videos are concerned, you can use Rapidshare.de or Yousendit.com (AOL-friendly) among others.

Happy posting!!  :)
