GREY GOOSE, The World’s Best Tasting Vodka, once again returned as the hottest spot at the Sundance Film Festival with the GREY GOOSE Blue Door pop-up lounge on Main Street. The Blue Door Lounge has become a staple on the main strip, with 2015 marking GREY GOOSE Vodka’s fourth year at the Sundance Film Festival. The exclusive invite-only space spans two-floors with bars on each, serving a variety of bespoke cocktails in celebration of those who “Fly Beyond” in the film industry.
On Friday night, as part of a six-night series of cocktail parties and private dinners for the festival’s top talent who share a passion to achieve the extraordinary, GREY GOOSE kicked off the evening with the “Strangerland” cast party. A star-studded guest list including Nicole Kidman, Joseph Fiennes, Hugo Weaving, Kim Farrant (director), Michael Kinirons (writer), and Fiona Seres (writer) toasted to the film’s debut while enjoying specially created GREY GOOSE cocktails including the GREY GOOSE Premiere, GREY GOOSE La Poire Cine-mon Spice, served warm, as well as the ultimate celebratory cocktail, the sparkling GREY GOOSE Le Fizz. Crowds of fans and festival-goers gathered outside on the sidewalk, hoping to get a photo as celebrities walked into the Blue Door Lounge.
One of the first to arrive, Nicole Kidman looked ravishing in Michael Kors. She held court on the second floor of the GREY GOOSE Blue Door lounge with cast members. Abstaining from the libations, Kidman was seen snacking on a bag of the popular Swedish Fish candy. Kidman was later seen fixing her lipstick in the restroom and overheard talking about what a great crowd that came out to the Strangerland GREY GOOSE Blue Door Lounge. She was overheard saying, “Wow, what a party – I guess the pre-party is the new after-party.”
Actor Joseph Fiennes hung out on the second floor as well, hosting a small group of friends over cocktails, before heading downstairs with Kidman and the rest of the cast for a group photo. Guests flocked to the GREY GOOSE step and repeat, climbing over each other to try and snap photos of the group on their smartphones.
