Nicole Kidman has started working on new drama Strangerland.
The movie sees her filming in her native Australia as she teams up with director Kim Farrant.
Strangerland marks the fiction feature film debut for Farrant, who has worked in documentaries and TV.
Kidman is set to star alongside Hugo Weaving and Joseph Fiennes.
The film follows a married couple as their marriage is under strain after the disappearance of their two teenage children.
Kidman will be back on the big screen this year, as she plays Grace Kelly in new biopic film Grace of Monaco.
She has also completed work on Before I Go To Sleep, Paddington and Queen of the Desert.
No official release date has been announced for Strangerland, but it looks set to hit the big screen in 2015.
