In 2008, Kim Carpenter's Theatre of Image celebrates its 20th birthday. Now well and truly a boisterous adolescent, TOI still remains New South Wales' leading theatre company for children and their families. The high calibre of productions and workshops put on throughout the years have been made possible with the generous contributions made though the numerous fundraising events it holds, such as this one hosted by Hugo Weaving at Sydney's Intercontinental Hotel.

The night is in aid of two different projects coming up on TOI's agenda, the physical theatre extravaganza Legs on the Wall, and the Let's Fly workshop, a chance for children to let their imaginations take flight as they take off to a world of birds, balloons and aeroplanes.

In keeping with the theme of aviation, the special night is titled Come Fly with Toi and includes a Sydney Seaplane scenic flight for two for auction. Other enticing items to go under the hammer include a Hayman Island holiday, a private dinner party catered by renowned chef Justin North and tickets to Sydney Theatre Company's upcoming War of the Roses, which includes a meeting with STC directors Cate Blanchett and Andrew Upton.
