Hugo Weaving, Rose Byrne and Matt Le Nevez have all signed on to play the three leads in the film noir flick, The Tender Hook.

It's the first feature from writer/director Jonathan Ogilvie, shooting is scheduled to start in Sydney in February 19. Production Weekly notes the film is set in a stylized version of jazz-age Sydney; the story follows a young woman's rise to the apex of a love/power triangle in the world of boxing. Iris, McHeath and Art each fight to establish their sovereignty within a flawed moral landscape.

No word on a film schedule for The Tender Hook.
