Hugo Weaving, Rose Byrne and Matt Le Nevez will play the three leads in The Tender Hook, says Production Weekly.

The stylish 1920's film noir is the first feature from writer/director Jonathan Ogilvie. Shooting is scheduled to start in Sydney in February 19.

Set in a stylized version of jazz-age Sydney, the story follows a young woman's rise to the apex of a love/power triangle in the world of boxing. Iris, McHeath and Art each fight to establish their sovereignty within a flawed moral landscape.
