Variety.com Himmelstein film set to start this summerOccupant Films will produce filmmaker Peter Himmelstein's family comedy "Peep World," a script he penned that was selected for the Sundance Directors Lab in 2004. Himmelstein will direct "Peep World," set to start lensing this summer. Story centers on four siblings planning to celebrate their father's 70th birthday and coming to terms with a novel written by one of the siblings that exposes the family's most intimate secrets. It's Himmelstein's second collaboration with Occupant following the recently completed thriller "The Key Man," which he also wrote and directed. "The Key Man," set in the world of insurance salesmen, stars Jack Davenport, Hugo Weaving, Brian Cox and Judy Greer. Himmelstein's credits include "The Lost Boys of Sudan," "Beautiful, Baby," "Electroboy" and "A Memoir of Mania." Occupant is a Los Angeles-based production and financing company established in August 2005 by producers Keith Calder, Felipe Marino and Joe Neurauter with the goal of developing distinctive independent pictures targeting a proven core audience as well as more mainstream films with broad appeal. Occupant's first film, horror thriller "All the Boys Love Mandy Lane," premiered at the 2006 Toronto Festival and was sold to Dimension.
