Herald Sun PIA Miranda has joined the cast of The Tender Hook, an Australian film to be shot in Melbourne next month.
Miranda teams up with Marie Antoinette
star Rose Byrne, Hugo Weaving and Matt Le Nevez in the drama about a
love and power triangle involving two boxers and Byrne's character,
Iris.
Meanwhile, official confirmation is still pending, but parts of Steven Spielberg's World War II mini-series The Pacific War will be filmed in Melbourne. The director confirmed shooting would take place in Melbourne when talking to Australian Academy Award nominee Stuart Parkyn at a lunch in LA this month. Scouts for Spielberg's mini-series were in Australia in October looking for locations for the pricey shoot.
