IESB.net Back in January we reported rumblings that the voice of Megatron was going to be either original voice over actor Frank Welker or one of the best new voices that Hollywood has to offer, Hugo Weaving. Guess what? Weaving got the gig! We have been hearing rumblings about this forever, Tom DeSanto and Don Murphy were always vocal about it and Frank Welker gave it his best, but voices change, and now mayhem maestro Michael Bay has decided to bring in Hugo Weaving to voice the leader of the decepticons. But O.G. T-fans don't despair, I have been told there might still be a Transformer that Frank Welker would voice. Who? Still don't know but you can count on the IESB to find out. I, for one, am totally down with Agent Smith voicing Megatron. This really could've been bad, one rumor that we heard about a month ago was that rapper Ludicrous, turned wannabee actor was also in the running. So now you can see that Hugo Weaving is a much better choice.
