Hugo Weaving has just signed on to join Benicio Del Toro, Emily Blunt and Anthony Hopkins in The Wolf Man. According to Variety, Weaving will portray the role of Detective Aberline in the Universal Pictures remake.
Like the 1941 original that starred Lon Chaney Jr., the new film will be set in Victorian England. Del Toro will star as The Wolf Man and Anthony Hopkins is set to play his father. Blunt has been cast as the female lead in the David Self screenplay. Filming for The Wolf Man is scheduled to start next month in London.
