After helping Hobbits in Lord of the Rings, fighting mankind in The Matrix and stirring revolution in V for Vendetta, actor Hugh Weaving is ready to take on The Wolfman, reports Variety. The thespian has been cast as Detective Aberline in the upcoming remake of the horror classic for Universal Pictures. Benicio Del Toro, Emily Blunt and Anthony Hopkins are already on board as starring while Joe Johnston is ready to direct. David Self did a rewrite of Andrew Kevin Walker's script. The movie is produced by Scott Stuber, Mary Parent, Sean Daniel and Rick Yorn. Production begins next month in London.
