Founder and director of the Cinema des Antipodes, Bernard Bories, reports that this year’s event (Oct. 14 – 20) – the 15th, – attracted a record of over 4,000 patrons – as well as the Indonesian Ambassador, who came down from Paris for the screening of Indonesian multi-segment film, Rectoverso.

“This year the music was also part of the Festival,” reports Bories, “with Paul Kelly Story of Me and the documentary made specially for the Festival was so successful : Rock des Antipodes, Episode One from Ray Argall about the rock music of the 80s including clips of Midnight Oil, Splitz End, Crowded House and others with fresh new interviews and pictures.”
